Along with valve damage, your cylinder walls are most likely scored by the broken spark plug material. Take off the head and examine cylinder #1. If its not too badly damaged, you can have a machine shop bore and hone to repair the damage.

It might not hurt to throw seals, in it while it's all apart. It would suck to do all that work, put it back toghter and discover another issue down the road. Well, if you can swing the money, and plan to keep the car for a while.
If not, simply replace the damaged Part(s)

You broke the retainer!?
I have never heard of this ever happening. Were you rev'ing the **** out of it when it happend?
Honestly, without having the head in front of me, I can only be so much help. It would be best to pull it aprat an run down to a machine shop.

Aftermarket retainers? I can only imagine what the other side of the head looks like. Pull the head off and take a look at the valve seats & compression chamber.

Head is looking ****ed. I've seen worse, but that's not good.
You could reuse the block, however should replace the damaged piston(s)
You could do a rs machine ITR replica piston, and keep the block. Assuming there's no damage to the walls.

Re: Bent Valve Need help ...
Scuffs aren't horrible, i've seen some pretty ****ed walls fixed. You may end up having to bore it slightly, but you never know. A hone could be all you need.

The block doesn't look bad. If you run your fingernails across the scuff, does it catch? Its hard to tell from the pix but there seems to be some light dmg to the top of the sleeves. The machine shop may have to deck the block to make sure its flat. To be safe, i would recommend to bore the block -- especially if its a high mileage block.

As 98civdx said, the head is toast.
