Re: Battery Stabilizer or Voltage stabilizer?
happy new year bro. I don't know much about electronic thing. just heard some good feedback about installing above device will good to alternator, better stabilize voltage and high rev. So it may depend what brand you are using.. if is cheap brand may cause problems. anyone using these devices? thank you

Where are you people "hearing" this stuff from? If your charging system is in order these are totally unnecessary. Don't believe the advertising hype.

These things work when there is less then accepted grounding (Subaru's benfit from these), but Honda has done a pretty good job of putting grounds on their motors... You could enlarge(use larger gaug wire)/clean the grounding points and see very little effect. Odds are if you cleaning your grounds would work just fine.
Since the spark plugs groung via the head It could produce a stronger/cleaner spark or sensors that ground via the engine would work more efficently but over all you dont need them.

Re: Battery Stabilizer or Voltage stabilizer?
I think those VS device is to reduce the lost of voltage and power lost to the minimal instead of gaining. I guess is up to user who willing to pay for the device cost. My friend who is wise enough to make a D.I.Y Voltage Stabilizer. He said that it was a simple device to make and it work, price cheaper than those brand name VS device.

Then get your friend to make one and install it. Don't know why you haven't already if you trust your friends work. Overall it will not make any noticeable difference.

Also keep in mind that there are systems like the Battery Tender which is designed to keep a battery in storage from dropping voltage. It could be considered a form of battery or voltage "stabiliser".

Re: Battery Stabilizer or Voltage stabilizer?
My bad. The voltage stabilizer D.I.Y from my friend is very simple. Just direct putting all those capacitor on a PCD board like this picture. But the matter is we don't have dyno system to test it. So we never know what is the gain from it. But we sure that the thing he made is run properly. We just thought that maybe those after market brand make it more unique. But for me, it just a very simple device. Even I'm a electronic dummy can make one. oh yeah the casing from Brand name is way nicer than my friend's DIY( more ugly looks)

Ya theres not much of a diffrence... putting it on a dyno would be a waste of money... it just makes the system run more smoothly... Your honda wont see anything...

I see... but sometimes it just can't resisted for those who addicted upgrade. I'm mean is not a big money upgrade but something is affordable and you expect the thing work as describe. even it says possible increase 10 torque or 1 hp for the device cost only 30 dollars.
