Default Battery not charging on 92 civic after second alternator! What could it be?

My first alternator would go in and out with charging or not, randomly, about 3-5 days at a time, and would tend to fluctuate with the weather (rain vs dry)

(the battery light would always come on too when it stopped charging)

I took it to autozone once and it bench tested good.
But when I put it back in the car, it worked for a week again and then died for 5 days.

After screwing with everything, I replaced the alternator.

Car worked & charged fine for 1 month.

Now it's happening AGAIN with the new alternator!!!

I checked all the grounds,
Checked the fuses, but there's not a specific "charging/alternator" fuse.
Funny thing though...

When I pulled the radio / cig fuse and put it back in, the car started charging for a bout 30 minutes, then stopped charging again..

P.s. this time, there is no battery light, however, I do have a new dash in there from an automatic.

Sounds like you have faulty wiring to your alternator, I would inspect those and see if they are burnt or cut anywhere.

Been going over everything with a multimeter and it's fine.

On a whim, I took it to autozone to bench test. SECOND bad alternator... hmm. So I guess my car is killing alternators?

I second that on the faulty wiring. Your wiring harness is faulty somewhere...maybe the wiring to the starter? Another dumb question but do you have any kind of system hooked up to your car with a capacitor or anything similar added on?

Bad grounds typically kill electronics like that. Even though it's making a connection, it's a bad one. A multi meter typically wouldn't give you much insight to how good or bad the connection is unless it's really bad.

Is anything running off the battery itself? Stupid question, but no different than when I did tech support and had to ask..."is the computer plugged in?" If it's a new or fairly new battery, something drained it, bad connections, shoddy cables, or something of the sorts.
