So I have a boosted gsr 97 ek and I was wondering why it keeps dying on me in the middle of driving it.

I charge the battery overnight, drive it less than 10 min ad the lighs dim in instrument panel, can't use signals or headlights or else motor bogs and just dies. Could it be the alternator?

Previous owner had a wire attached to the alt and the positive side of the battery to see f that charged the battery but it wouldn't. Just got the cat two days ago and the car drove fine for 30min then died near my house.


What could possibly be draining the battery to te point where I can't even turn on my hazards!?! Help me out Ht. Suggestions help too.

Check the alternator. Pull it out and get it checked for good measure.


Sounds like you bought someone else's nightmare.

Alternator most likely is bad and not charging the battery.
