Default 97 ek hatch b18 leak problem

i got a b18 head with b20 block. anyone have the oil feed line on this motor leak? every time i rev the engine i get oil spitting out by the filter (where the bottom end of the oil feed line is). for about 30 seconds oil was pouring out like a faucet and the oil was muddy looking. like when u take the oil pan off. any suggestions for this type of leak?

also there is an LS throttle cable on this motor which is about 6-8 inches too long. very low idle and accelerator gets stuck from the cable drag i guess. any suggestions? oh i forgot, im not sure which ecu to use for this i know its an obd1 but any certain one? whats the point of vtec if the car wasnt factory programmed for it.

any help will be appreciated

(1) Inspect the line carefully for breakage, make sure the gasket from the previous oil filter is not sandwiched between the newer filter and the block. Fram filters are infamous for this.

(2) Get a GS-R cable.

(3) GS-R's come with the P72 ecu, IIRC VTEC is set at 4400 rpm. Even though you have a B20 bottom end think of it as B18C ecu wise.
