Default B20b swap

Hey all thanks in advance for your help and taking the time to read my post! After a lot of research and changing my mind several times I've decided the swap for my 99 ek is going to be a 99-01 jdm crv engine. 146 hp and 131 ft lbs for 400$ sounds good to me(I'm aware it's going to cost a lot more to be reliably installed). As far as I know swap parts/ mods required are as follows integra axles, integra intake manifold(probably just going to go skunk2), integra throttle cable, any fwd b series transmission, extended charging system harness, integra cluth and flywheel, full size rad, walbro 255, integra shift linkage? I've found some unclear/conflicting Info on mounts if someone could fill me in or post a good link that would be great. My other question is i plan to go obd1 in the future get adjustable cam gears and a mild cam (Brian crower stage 1 na?) but I'll not be going obd 1 right away or doing anything besides intake and exaust will the stock 146hp relly happen with my stock ecu? My power goal is 180 to the wheels (in the future)is this possible without turning compression up? I'm going to do a full re build on this engine as I want it to be super reliable(and cheapish) and it needs to stay that way and not cost a fortune which is why I don't want to mess with compression I frequently take my car on 8 hr drives to the middle of no we're and IDE rather not have major failure that far away from home any advice input or help is much appreciated pleas excuse me if any of my questions are noobish thanks again.

Sorry let me re fraise am I correct that I just need rear and drivers side mount for a 99-00 si? Also I have an integra subframe and I cut and extended my rear engine mount about an inch to make it align not sure how this is going to play out with the b series swap? I'm assuming a rear b series mount will line right up with my subframe again any input is appreciated thanks

Swaps like that are common, b-series swaps that is, and guides are a plenty. What you did with the integra subframe wasn't necessary. If you search this forum you'll find someone who did swap in the integra subframe and didn't have to cut anything, just different parts.

Yea I'm aware I could have bought a new mount but why waist money when I can have fun fabricating one for free. Thanks for your input though. All I'm asking is for someone to confirm my list of swap parts pleas and thank you

Theres plenty of B20 Swaps into that chassis.. Mine happens to be one of them.

You 180 HP goal for a non vtec engine is going to be a let down. I have a 11.2:1 CR with a P8R head with cams, 68mm intake and TB and a few other parts and im only ay 166/142 to the wheels. Its a blast to drive.

Now, The non vtec rockers arent designed to handle high revs like the vtec. Your ECU will need to swapped to a OBD1 version, Im not sure about your distributor wiring.

You will need the bracket that bolts to the front of the block from an Si and then you will want a decent set of mounts. The torque will rip apart old worn mounts and cause driveline issues. so just handle it now and put it on the list.

Theres alot more you can do to make power. but it costs $$. I will say, its easier to get all your parts and goodies done before installation. That P75 head is on of the worst flowing heads out there. So, since thats where the power is made, you might want to start there.

Thanks so much for the input and information! So looks like adding a b16 vtec head, obd 1 jumper harness, arp rod, head hardware and a chipped p72 ecu to the build list is a good starting point "best bang for my buck" and honestly my mounts are mint(replaced by previous owner due to continuous axle issues) but I'll probably fill them with window weld or energy suspension inserts and see how that goes although you have a seriously valid point a set of innovative mounts would be a great addition.i know every engine and how it's tuned will make a massive difference but how much power do you see this setup making? Your guess is better then mine. Thanks so much again I'm going to start acquiring parts. Can't wait to make a build thread
