if it opens all the way i'd say just leave it for now, you can try a em1 cable but for the record the b series(except ITR) TB's are the same save from the newer ones not having a FITV. same as in bore, direction the wheel turns

That's what I am aware of as well. Only the GSR throttle body is different. I have a b16 throttle body without FITV. If you have an EK are you using ITR cable and bracket?

yah and gsr one lol forgot about that one I was thinking in terms of bore(60v62mm). No I've got a DC2 but the official skunk manifold install lists the ITR cable and bracket as the primary choices. I've seen plenty of 6th gen civic's with B-swaps running a s2 mani and ITR cable+braket that's why it's strange.

This is why I think the issue is at the other end. Where the cable gets inserted onto the pedal. Either a bushing, grommet or pedal adjustment of the actual pedal itself.

That's what I thought as well. I've seen a lot of cars run that combo it just seems very strange to me. I'll double check everything. At least it'll run this way. Thanks for all your help.

Maybe I am missing a grommet down there then. I'll double check cus it does seem like it may be in the pedal itself. I mean that's the only thing it could be. They cable was brand new so I don't think it's stretched because it was sealed in the bag.

it slots right into the top part of the pedal bracket possibly the spring that forces the pedal back up tho #23(#8 is for the cruse control)

The only thing I can think of is possibly that spring is worn like you said. I honestly don't see what else it could be.

I'll double check if I have that tomorrow. I'm also looking into if people actually use the ITR cable and ITR bracket on EKs or if that is listed to be used with skunk2 intake manifold when in a dc2

May be a stupid suggestion but you don't have the throttle cable going to the cruise control arm on the pedal assembly, do you?
