b18c1 in limp mode
alright well i just want to start off with a couple of questions about "limp home" mode. First off, limp home mode shuts down all of your sensors except tdc and tps right, so would you get a CEL for all other sensors...second is i know limp home mode makes your car redline at 3500 but mine is red lining at 2000 so is my ecu even in limp home mode.
Well heres the scoop on why i am asking these questions and if you could help me out with this problem it would be greatly appreciated...I just recently swapped my obd2 usdm b18c1 to a jdm obd2 b18c1 and the only sensor that wasnt hooking up is the crank fluctuation sensor so i did the "ckf bypass trick" and that didnt get me out of limp home mode, so i reflash the ecu and that didnt do it either. After I reflashed my ecu there is no CEL, but the car is still in limp dick mode....help me out here please, as i am way too confused
