hey, i have a 98 civic with a 99 b16a2 swap when it pretty warm out side around 25c or higher i take off from a set of lights like normal and the car really boggs and seems like it wants to die but yet it runs perfect and idles perfect what could cuz this if i launch it, it dosent seem to do it as bad ut who wants todo that at every light all the time, once i hit vtec it seems to pull like normal but till then it's a dog and it dosent do it every time either i'd wouldnt even say 1/2 the time but it's annoying as hell. it dosent do it when colder outside my engine temp is the same in both senerios and oil pressure is about the same arounf 20-30 psi at idle so i dont know wtf is going on thanks for any help Tom

Has this problem been going the whole time or is it something new?

The B16 doesn't pull much harder than a D16Z6 up until 3.5k/4k or so, then by VTEC it's really pulling hard.

i swapped the motor in last july and it's done it ever since. but usally on hot days and not all the time. it's wierd because usally only does it on light throtal and once it bogs like that i can give it all the throtal i want it wont make any differnence untill it hits 35, 4k i pretty much feels like taking off in 3rd kinda feeling but i'm in first. its messed up
