b16a2 high idle, jerky shifts
I have a stock 2000 si that has been giving me problems. I know it doesn't have any vacuum leaks, checked with flammable brake cleaner. Its throwing the code p0505. My idle will be around 1500, when I cover the Idle control valve it will go down to 1300. Any suggestions?

It's totally fine to clean it with degreaser.
1300 after warm-up is WAY too high. You need to follow FSM procedure to properly set your idle. There should be a write-up in the FAQ's sticky. Do that after cleaning the IACV, though.

You could buy one...but they're stupidly expensive. They're available for download if you search hard enough, but posting links to pirated things isn't really kosher here.
Check our FAQ's sticky thread. I'm fairly sure that the procedure is there.
