Default B16A Converted EG4 Won't Start

I'll basically outline what has been done to the car up to this stage. It's a 92 EG4 (LSi) that's had a B16A from a 92 del Sol SiR dropped in it running on a P30 ECU. When I dropped it in I used a complete dash loom through to the engine from an L reg Civic Esi (1.6 SOHC). When we first started it there was a few problems such as a crack in the weld on the manifold and we needed 2 new driveshafts as well as the tracking done. Despite this the car obviously ran no problem and I drove it from my garage back to the house. In all it had done about 14 miles before I got it to a local garage to have all the problems mentioned above sorted.

When it got to the garage the 2 new driveshafts were fitted and the crack on the weld of the manifold was done with the manifold off the car as to ensure no power surge from grounding the welder. Whilst it was sat there the rocker cover was changed for a standard one from the mugen one I had, and a single bucket seat was fitted. All of these problems were non-electrical and none of the electrics were touched. I went down a couple of days ago when I was due to pick it up and the car refused to start. A little stumped we put a spark tester on one lead number 1. There was no spark, so we took the cap off the disbritutor and tested this on my other car, a 92 sol SiR, no problem there the car started. So we came to the conclusion that there was a problem with the dizzy as there was no spark. A day later a shiny new dizzy arrives at my door. We shot down to the garage and popped it on the car and turned it over, bam! It started! I was so happy that the dizzy had solved the problem.

About a minute later the car cut out. I restarted it and it started again but this time after about 15 seconds it came to a stop. This really confused us so we popped the spark tester on the car again and to our surprise no spark. This really stumped us, so we checked the fuses under the bonnet and under the dash. They all seem to be absolutely fine! So decided to ring a mate of my old man's an auto electrician. Obviously without being there there was no real hope of him diagnosing the problem so he suggested a few things, such as:

- Disconnect the battery for a minute or two,
- Try the P30 from my Del Sol (and try the P30 from the civic on the sol with no problem),
- Replace the main relay (relay was tested on my sol first and there was no problem),
- Check the fuel pump (you can hear the pump go as you turn the ignition on so no problem there).

All of these solutions turned out to be no good. At present the car turns over with no spark. The car still won't start. It has been completelty frustrating. Auto electricians are drawing blanks and to be honest as soon as you mention the fact that it's been converted they're a bit scared of it. At the moment the only option is to trailer the car down to a diagnostics garage and try and see if we can resolve anything that way, but this is racking up the bill big time! Basically I want to hear from people that have done the same conversion and if they have come across a similar problem before I go ahead and get it to a diagnostics garage. Thanks for reading, really appreciate it.
