Automatic shifting Problem
I just bought a 93 automatic Del Sol S and when I try to shift from reverse to drive or reverse to park, I really have to struggle with the shift ****. I initially thought that it was the shift **** itself, but I replaced it and prob still persist. Do anyone have any ideas on what it may be? Also, any idea on how much it may cost to fix? Lastly, anyone know a reasonable priced mechanic in the Chicago area that may be able to help. Thanks!

it's probably the shift cable. Disconnect the shift cable from the gear selector under the console, and see if it shifts smooth or not. If it does, then it's a cable problem- easy fix. If it still does the same, try cleaning the mechanism or just replace
