Default auto/manual speed sensor?
any difference between auto and manual speed sensor? I have a 92 civic auto but by speedometer isnt working anymore....I see one for sale but its for a manual....help

They may be the same but ask HAPrecyling if the have one for an auto tranny. Too many people try to mess around with this auto/manual compatability stuff.

there is about 5 different styles of Vss. find out which one was on your tranny if its not there. and if it is then match it up.

according to the faq the manual vss will not work with the auto trans.... but you wont know for sure unless you try it
