Default Apexi WS Coilovers

Doesnt seem like too many people have these..They seem like a good deal, I'm just worried they wont be 'aggressive' enough as far as stiffness is concerned. I have H&R sports now, and I'd like to stay with that spring rate range and ride heigth. It's either the Apexis or KYB AGX's on my H&R's.

WS Coilovers are a good bang for the buck. I may be wrong but I think the WS rates are 8K front and 6K rear and the N1's are 12K front and 8K rear. You can't beat fully adjustable coil overs. Gonna beat any progressive rate/strut or sleeve/strut set-up when set-up properly.

If they werent stiff enough for my tasting, could I switch the springs out for firmer ones?

What is the best deal you have seen on the Apexi WS? Are they rebound adjustable too?

Avoid the WS man, I've heard unpleasant things about them. If anything go for the n1 dampers. If you can find a good deal, they'll come out to about the same price. for the WS you're paying about a G, but they don't come with pillow ball mounts. And apex charges a pretty hefty amount for em, around 2-300. So yeah, n1 99 spec are pretty nifty and less expensive then the type pro's.

Have you heard anything else unpleasant about the WS, besides the price and the fact that they do not come with upper pillow mounts?

basically, a lot of my friends found the ride to be overpriced for something so similar in ride to a set of illuminas and some gc's. if you must get coilovers, get the n1 dampers.

yeah, they would...but spending $500+ on shocks....i dunno

the deal i found on the WS's was for a 92-95 civic anyway, so I'll probably just get new shocks. height adjustment isnt that important to me

I've been happy with my WS's, but if you like your current springs, why not just get the new shocks.

You can have about an inch of adjustment with konis by adjusting the perch
