Air Condition Problem
My a/c is not working. Really? Yes, really.
When I turn on the a/c, the a/c fan starts spinning and the engine boggs.
When I turn off the a/c, the a/c fan stops spinning and the engine idles normally.
The blower is working fine as it blows hot air only. I put a known working a/c compressor on my 95 civic off of a 96 civic; this was a direct bolt up. Prior to having the compressor installed, I had the lines completely drained.
I took my car to a general repair shop across the street from where I work. Now normally, I would never take my car to get worked on anywhere, however, there are two things that I feel that I cannot do: a/c repair and alignments.
I had them check the system, and they say that they ran the freon through the system but could never get the compressor to turn on. I feel that there has to be something wrong with their diagnostics results because this compressor worked fine on the car I removed it from.
Any suggesstions?

Re: Air Condition Problem (2camsaam)
Maybe the compressor fuse is blown.
If the engine bogs down...the compressor should be turning on tho.
Maybe you have too much or too little free on in there.

Re: Air Condition Problem (BoostedSi)
By the way, after the repair center tested system, they completely drained the lines of freon. As when I brought the car to them there was nothing in there to begin with.
I believe that my fuses are fine, but I will check again tonight.
