99 EM1 - Wiring Help with Green Plug C131
Let me start off by saying I HAVE SEARCHED!!! IDK if my searching skill suck or its just hard to find. I'm in the middle of tucking my engine harness for my b18c in my EK and the previous owner that I purchased the harness from had hacked up the harness pretty good. Found out everything else and this is the only thing holding me back.
In the first picture there is the drivers side "Green" Plug (either C131 or C446 in the helms manual...my bootleg manual is hard to read lol) coming off of the engine harness. There is three (3) wires coming off the plug that I'm not sure where they go. The wire colors are:
YEL
GRN
GRN/BLK
Now...I found one thing using Google that said which wire goes where (http://www.ek9.org/forum/480817-post3.html), but it is for a J32 swap in a EK Civic and I'm kind of iffy about using it because I'm not sure how accurate it is. It says the following:
YEL-Back Up Lights
GRN/BLK- Back Up Lights
GRN-Fans
Is the green wire ("fans") for an ECT sensor for the cluster being that the harness is missing one of the ECT sensors? Which sensor would it be... the one on the head or the one on the thermostat housing that sends the signal to the cluster? (or am I completely wrong)
In the second and third pictures there is another wire that I have traced backwards that is running to the two unused big plugs on the engine harness under the intake manifold (excuse my terminology). The wire is a Solid Blackwire. could this be the ground for the ECT sensor that I am missing?
Sorry if I have answered my own question...I just want to be sure before I loom the harness up!
If someone could just lead me in the direction of the pinout of the green plug, I could figure out the rest!
-Chris

color and lighing in the picture is not so great,
a better close up and impoved lighting while taking the pictures would help much better.

Re: Wiring Help (Green Plug Questions)
What year Civic/trim do the wire harnesses come from?
Post clear pictures of the front side and rear wire side of connectors you wish to identify.

Re: 99 EM1 - Wiring Help with Green Plug C131
AWSOME! Now the solid green wire for the "fans" would that be for the ECT sensor? If so, which sensor controls the fans...the one one the thermostat or the one on the head? Could this solid green wire correspond with the solid black wire that runs to the ground distribution block and make the circuit for the ECT sensor?
Thanks a bunch!!!
