99 civic rearview mirror fixable?
Hey guys, i just recently got a 99 civic and the rearview mirror is really loose where the ball joint part is and tilts every time i hit a bump. Is there any way to tighten it ?

Every 96-00 I've ever ridden in has had this problem, including mine. There's a very simple fix.
Take the mirror off. Take the mirror apart from the mount so that you're looking at the ball. Wrap a layer of electrical tape around the ball.
Put everything back together and enjoy your newly non-vibrational mirror. After doing this, it will be a bit tougher to move around, just like mirrors in basically every other car. I've been rolling like this for 2 years, and it works awesome.

'94-'01 Integras rear view mirrors mount the same, but are not the same as the '96-'00 Civic mirror. They're definitely wider and I think a little taller IIRC.

just take the mirror off and there is a clip in there with a screw take it off bend it a little bit and screw it back down and you will be good to go no need for "electrical tape method"
also it cost no money dont waste your money on a new one when you can easily fix the old one

And all it may take is to tighten the screw.
