Default 99 civic motor bogging at 50-60mph HELP!!!!!

I have a stock 1999 civic 4dr automatic that drives funny between the speeds of 50-70mph. At around this speed, if i am cruising, and then try to give the car some gas, it starts to bog and catch and bog. The car bogs back and forth, until u give it more gas to shift it down a gear (automatic). The car gets jumpy and acts like its going to die, but it doesn't. The car drives fine and can be driven for long distances, i am just afraid that this is a serious issue and that the car will die on me in the future.

Any ideas or seggestions on what the problem is or what i can do to stop it? Thanks a lot!!!

I have the same issue with a stick shift. I almost want to say it has something to do with the sensors on the throttle body AND the cold weather. I've asked my car guru buddy and he said to check your ignition timing, ignition system (loose plug wires/cap/rotor/plugs/coil), and to reset your ecu once.
Edit: I just replaced my fuel filter btw....it could also be an air pocket present in the fuel filter/air line that is trapped?

you can always purge the line at the rail and see about the air. This coldness does have something to do with it, my cel gives me 3-4 codes below a certain temp haha. I would do the routine first though, because thats most of the time the problem

I filled up the tank today to the top with just regular gas, and it didnt bog as much. Could it have something to do with the fuel system?

had this problem once. if it's nothing major wrong with the car, then i would go with dirty fuel injectors, bad fuel filter or fuel pump. i use 93 in mine and put in Lucas Oil in with a full tank and after doing that a few times over the course of three weeks it cleaned them out and it stopped. haven't had that problem since.
