where is the heater valve on a 98 civic hatch?

my car constantly has hot air blowing threw it even if i shut the fan off and put it on recerculate you can feel the heat resonating out of the vents and if you put it on outside air it blows the hot air into the car.

so i figured that the heater valve is not shutting all the way... any other things that would cause this? caust the temp slider will go full cold but it wont go full hot it stops about half an inch short.



also the 2 far outside vents never shut off. donst mater if you set it to feet or face or defrost windshield the 2 outer ones always blow if the fan is on is that sapost to do that or is something not closing them off.

well i fixed the heater valve always being open a little found a thing on how to adjust the linkage and the climate control slider.

onlything i cant figure out is y the side vents blow air all the time... are they sapost to? even if i hit feet only or defrost only they still blow ac or heat. whats the deal
