Default 98 civic SRS light

ok so i have done the reset on the light three times now and the light still stays on. So i tryed pulling the codes out of it. When i have it jumped the light only blinks one time then stays on. according to the sticky there is not a code for just one blink. im kind of stumped right now the fuses are good the srs unit is in the car and everything looks pluged up

This^ means no SRS code was stored in the SRS ECU.

I bet you have a new rack and pinion installed on your car...right? That is why I do not want to tackle my rack alone. I am having a shop do it, just because of that spring. That way if this happens, I wont be liable.

Of course it hasn't given you problems yet. You haven't wrecked the car.

I actually did rear end someone a couple weeks after i bought the car.
But it wasn't anything too bad. Expensive repair that's for sure.

If you hit someone hard enough to damage your subframe (only "expensive" part in that area), then your air bags should have deployed. You got lucky.
