Default rod bearing spun b16A

hello,i own a 94vtec del sol w 220000miles and ive spun the #2rod bearing. i am trying to find the best way about getting back on the road.(cheapest) ive found a 93 si at a local yard. question:is there a diff in the two bottem ends?can they be swapped? please help asap.

The si is a SOHC engine, the vtec has a DOHC engine. Not the same....

Why not rebuild the engine?

Yeah it is a viable option to rebuild these motors.

Bottom ends can be swapped, but just buy a good crank, new main amd rod bearings and throw it back together again.
