97 del sol, OBD I or II
Is the 97 california del sol OBD I or II because it does not have a OBD II standard port which after 96 was suppost to be OBD II compliant and still uses the flashing MIL light to flash codes. I need to know this cause i want to swap my 97 d16 with a b16 from a 94 which is OBD I. If it is im just going to get a crx or a hatch and put it in that.
Thanks a lot

obdII cars use the flashing MIL also. if you can't find the obd2 scanner port, ask the dealer. btw, you won't be able to legally swap your car unless you convert the b16 to obdII spec

96-97 Del Sol's are OBD2a

wouldn't his swap still not be legal? older motor into newer car.
try to get a B16A2 from a 96-97 Del Sol VTEC, or 99-00 Civic Si.
