96 Civic CX cluster swap - extra green connector?
i just got a tach cluster to replace mine that didn't have one. I noticed there is an extra green connector on the tach gauge that mine does not have and i dont seem to have in the wiring harness will this be an issue? does that extra plug run the tach ?

I have another similar question...prior to swapping my speedo ant odo would stop off and on several times a day. I assumed bad speed sensor, how ever after installing the new cluster with my old speedo in it for the mileage it has worked flawlessly for the past 24 hrs. Any thoughts? Bad housing, loose connection or possible bad sensor just acting nice for now?

Since you're cx didn't have the wires to hookup the tach from the new cluster, how did you wire? Just curious cause I've got an ej6 cx hatch as well and wanted to do the same thing. Not really a fan of aftermarket tach's.

yeah the only thing i didn't have on the new cluster was the cruise control and that is what that extra green connector was for. The rest of it just plugs right up and works its pretty awesome. I love it!
