Alright guys, here's the story

I bought a Honda civic hatchback, its a 97, as you all know the 96-98 climate control console is different from the 99-00.

NOTE: I HAVE A/C meaning A/C compressor, all the lines a/c blower, heater core, everything needed to have a/c and heater.

Anywho this car came with the 99-00 climate control console, being the fact that the previous owner didnt bother convert the a/c blower and the heater core to the 99-00 also it didnt work.

SO with that being said, im too lazy and broke to do the a/c blower and the heater core conversion, so i went about getting me a 96-98 climate control console. I figure if I Swap it it will go back to factory and work like its suppose to.

But the previous owner had to make it harder on me by leaving TWO harnesses in there, they have the same plugs and everything! So i have 2 of every plugs, so i unplugged what was originally in there when i bought the car, and plugged in the other set that was just hanging (seems like the original factory one cuz it was still zip tied and clipped to the frame) and with the 96-98 dash in, it is finally giving me COLD air (doesnt seem cold enough but I will have my a/c check and recharged). But I cant seem to control where i want the air vented, no matter what button i hit, it blows out on the top (windshield) and the Dash (drive and passenger vents).

here are some pics of the mess. Please help me straighten this out, i need to be able to control where the air blows.

Found this by the ECU not plugged in, just wondering if it goes somewhere anyone knows?


THen i found what looks like the same plug in the pic above, but its plugged into some kind of RELAY


THis is the harness all plugged into the a/c blower and the heater core.


Two plugs behind the climate control console not used?


What is looks like right now as im trying to figure this out.

Alright i know for a fact now that the extra harness in there is for the 99-00 climate control. Those 2 plugs that i said that arent used pictured above plugs into the 99-00 climate control.
