ok so i have a 96 ek sedan with a z6 swap just bought the car as is well its black smoking gets like 10 mpg has a high idle and revs on start up and stumbles when you barely touch the throttle and it revs to 4k when i plug up the map sensor its running an obd2 harness with a jumper and p28 i need some help to make this thing run right please oh and when i hooked up my jumper and p28 my speedo stopped working on the test run

have you done a 2 wire to 3 wire iac conversion? it still needs to be done the harness will not change this. im running a z6 boosted in my 97 with no problems at all and just passed it through emissions

im not sure if its been swapped or not i will check in the morning but how do i swap them just get a three wire iac?

the iac is a 2 wire and the harness plug is a three wire

do you have a functional o2? its most likely running full rich

i just put in a brand new universal o2

but i have never attempted to use a universal o2 before are they legit or garbage
