94 honda civic ex intrument cluster problems
Hello everyone so I have a 94 Honda civic ex with a SOHC 1.6 liter engine and I am having problems with the tachometer and the speedometer on the instrument cluster both gas and temperature gauges work but tachometer and speedometer do not. I have purchased a used instrument cluster and replaced the old but the tachometer and the speedometer still do not work and the gas and temperature gauges work on the replacement instrument cluster as well but still tachometer and speedometer are non responsive, can anyone help me out? thank you for your time.

Post the CEL codes thrown.
Check whether the blue tach wire is damaged or detached from the igniter unit inside the distributor. If not, the igniter unit may be bad, causing the tach problem.

Don't turn the engine off -- The solution to this problem (recovering the CEL code) can be found by clicking the CEL Codes link in my signature.
