94 Civic Driveaxle help...
i have a 94 civic ex and my cv boots are ripped in half and i hear clicking in the turns so i know that the cv joints are wearing down. im gonna fix them but can i buy just the cv joint and boot to fix it or do i have to buy the whole axle shaft to fix it. The mechanic quoted at 555.00 for replacing both shafts, im trying to cut that cost down a lil. Any answers are greatly appreciated...

Get new axles from AutoZone.
$75 each.
They have a lifetime warranty. If one or both fails, take them in and get new ones, just like that.
Use this write-up:

You'll be golden.
$150 for new axles.
$0 for labor.
You can do this WITHOUT air tools, easily.
