Default 94 civic cranks but doesn't start. Need help.

I did search and replace a lot of parts on my own before posting this. My friend's 1994 Honda Civic EX is having trouble starting. The car will start up fine when it is cold. When the car is warm and the radiator fan is not on, the car just cranks and you start to smell a lot of fuel. But if the car is warm and the radiator fan is on, the car will start up fine. The fuel pump is priming, no CEI, checked timing, checked spark. The only thing I did not check was the compression. I replace the ignition coil, the rotor, dist. cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs, main relay, checked fuses, cleaned out the injectors, clean out the fuel rail. Does anyone know WTF is going on with this civic?

It cranks and turns, but doesn't start. It is like those old cars that take a while to crank over and start, but it just keeps on cranking.

I know it is not the battery or the alternator. You can crank for along time if you want, plenty of juice. I just have to wait for an hour until the engine cools off in order to start the car again. I check all three major ground cables in the engine bay and they seem fine also.

that could be it. Thanks for the info.

k. today i replaced the fast idle valve and checked it. It works just fine.
I also replaced the thermostat since there was none!!
So this is the deal. It only stalls on me when the engine is hot and left alone for a few min (5-10min). When i crank, i can smell gas and if i do not wait too long about (1-3min) before i crank again i can get it started but it sputters and miss-fires almost as if its dumping fuel into the chamber and flooding it so it takes a few sec before it reaches normal idle again. sorry for the tough explanation but i tried to relate as detailed as possible, any other suggestion?
