Icon6 94 civic auto trans not shifting right, shift solenoid??

I have a 94 civic dx coupe automatic, when accelerating 1st to 2nd gear takes a little longer than normal to shift, then it shifts kind of firm or hard. Then I will have to get up to around 50-55mph for it to shift to 3rd gear, then around 65-70 to shift into 4th gear. The car winds out to long to take it to shift, and this is just driving it easy and normal. What could this be from? I have been told that it maybe the shift solenoid? I know they are on the trans somewhere, but also do not know how many solenoids there are? I have changed the trans fluid and added some lucas for trans to it , it helped some on the hard shifting, but thats about it. HELP!!! Thanks for your replys ahead of time.
