Default 92 civic hatch o2 sensor wiring

Sup guys,

I'm getting a code 41 which is the o2's heater sensor element and I'm thinking since this is a pretty new universal sensor I didn't connect it correctly first time around.

I have the following wirings coming from the ecu harness:

white
white w/ black stripe
green w/ white stripe
red w/ black stripe

My universal o2 has the following wires:
black
grey
white
white

Now, which wires on the ecu do I match to my o2 sensor's wires?

Btw, I'm searching but if anyone knows the answer, please chime in.

Thanks!

i just measured the heater element resistance with my DMM and it shows 3M ohms... does that mean the O2 sensor is junk? time for new o2 sensor? or will it work if i connect it correctly

thank you!

3M ohms is basically open, meaning blown.
the O2 heater should read <100ohms for sure.

are you talking about you're '92 DX in your sig? if so the wires don't line up with the wire colors I've seen before.
black --> D14
grey --> D22
white --> A6
white --> 12V in Run/Start

can you give me the wire colors for D14, D22, A6, and 12V? I know those are the ecu pin-outs but I need the wire colors that match those pins.

thanks relic!

no problem.

ECU pin - color at ECU - color at O2 plug - color after O2 plug
D14 - white - white - white
D22 - green/white - green white - green
A6 - orange/black - orange/black - black
12V - yellow/black - yellow/black - black
12V taps into the cluster of yellow/black wires at the driver's shock tower.

again this what the helm manual says for the 92-95's, the wires you mentioned do not match up, which worries me. Do you have some other harness on the engine?
