Default 92 civic clutch bleeding

I have a 92 civic ex sedan and I replace a clutch master cylinder.. Now when I bleed it, the clutch pedal won't get stiff.. The way I bleed it

1)press the clutch pedal 4times hold it down
2)loosen the slave cylinder bleeder screw then tighten it up after
3)and keep repeating till the pedal gets stiff

I have heard of bench bleeding the clutch master cylinder before installing?? How u do that? Please help
