Default 92-95 h swap, transmission questions

im getting ready to do a h swap into my 92 cx an was wondering if i could use any f22 tranny for now or if i needed to look for a certain year so i could later on down the road swap in the correct h22 tranny without having to change anything... also will a accord shifter box an cables work with this swap??

please dont waste your money on the f22 tranny. way to long geared. look for a m2f4 tranny or if you got the money m2b4 or m2y4 i think it is

yep the accord (90-93 or 94-97) shifter assembly and cables will work. also, like was already said, you can use any F22 trans. a friend of mine had his F22 trans in his 'lude with the H22 until he could find an H22 trans.

right now i honestly dont have the extra cash to swing (getting married in less then a month)for a h22 trans or i would but the local bone yard has at least 10 accords with the f22 manual tranny an they only charge 75.99 with 20.00 core for trannys with a 45 day exchange policy so i figured if i could go that route for now to save some cash an get the project on the road it would be my best bet.... to many coals in the fire if you know what i mean (got a fully built lsv turbo in my daily eg coupe just waiting on the rest of turbo junk to get her out)
