beat me to it.
it's about a 350rpm difference.
this is the only difference in the ex and si transmissions.
i'm gonna be putting the 0.750 5th in my hybrid tranny reall soon
and yess, i've actually counted the teeth to confirm this.

no they are not. trust me, i counted the teeth myself last week. I am building a hydro transmission for my car, and i've got 6 transmissions. 5 taken apart in my room.
look
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th are IDENTICAL 5th is slightly shorter on the delsol si and the 92-95 civic si
everything else on these transmissions are IDENTICAL!
the 92-95 civic si and the delsol si are the only civics between 92-00 to have a 5th gear other than 0.702

There the same. </TD></TR></TABLE>
But technically they are different in 5th gear by .048. ex 4/2dr is .702 and the hb si is .750. So they are different and thats what this guy wants to know, some people just spread garbage on here.
^^DOHCDELSLOW thats because its 5th gear, so accleration is not effected for 1, 2, 3, 4th gear. And i doubt you are using that 5th gear for racing, so of course you will not notice it.

Re: (Slammed92hbonN20)
the delslow si's and civic si's have a different rpm fall points after shifting than the ex trannies....for example, ex trannies after you shift, the rpm falls too 4900 rpm, si trannies rpm stays above 5500 rpm through all the gears....thats if you dont granny shift, if you granny shift its like 4700 for ex and 5200 for the si....both my cousins have mini swaps in eg's....one have a ex tranny and one have an si tranny, the one with the si tranny pulls after every gear shift and shifts like half a second before the ex tranny.....it will make a difference depending on how you drive....
