2000 DX P1457 (NY)
I see there is a TSB for this condition in salted road regions. Whats the fix? Are there aftermarket bypass solenoids available? I clear the code and it just comes back. Gas cap was replaced and seals.

Try running the next few tanks of gas without filling up the tank all the way.
My 2000 EX ALWAYS gets this code if I run the tank all the way to the top. I chased this code for 2 years, and replace almost everything in the EVAP system without getting rid of the code. Try resetting the code and clicking off the gas pump about a gallon short. See if the code comes back.
If you don't get the code again, you can still fill your tank up all the way without it coming back, if you do it like I do. I run mine up to about 8-9 gallons (almost full), and then run the last gallon on the slowest pump setting so that it clicks off in time to avoid an overfill.
In doing that, I got my 1457 code to go away and never come back.
If the code still keeps coming back, THEN start to look at the evap purge solenoids and the tank filler neck. Also, if you replaced the gas cap with an aftermarket one, I would swap it back with a Honda cap. Sometimes aftermarket caps can cause this code.

Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket valves available? I'd hate to spend the $130 on one from Honda when this is just my DD. I might try taking it off and spraying rust penetrate or anti corrosion cleaner.
