jdm 5 lug with d series axle?
Anyone know if this is possible? i know my d series axle is 32 mm while the jdm 5 lug usues a 36 mm shaft. can i use an outer cv joint from any other honda model ( accord, prelude, etc) to make this work?

No, you cannot. Unless you get custom axles for your D series with 36 mm outer CV ends, they will not be compatible.
I would recommend getting US ITR 5 lug or JDM CTR 5 lug hub/knuckles being they are 32mm, and they will go right onto your stock D series axles.

I think for the long run, if you can only find a JDM 5-lug...
Instead of getting custom axles made or frankensteined, just spend a little more money now and get a USDM hub and replace the JDM one. That way you can use standard axles and when your axles go bad, you can still use the pepboys crap.
The hubs are about 140 each online, but you will ruin the bearings pressing the hubs out so new bearings are gonna be 50-70 each as well.
