2000 civic heat problem ?
Posting this for a friend
Problem: Heat is working but does not get very hot
Things we tried : Checked all fuses that are related to heat system, Checked coolent level it was topped off, Fan is working fine.
What I think it is : Heater core
This car only has 60,000 miles on it thats why I was not very sure on recomending that the heater core might be bad.

Could be the t-stat not opening properly. Could be the cable that opens the valve for the antifreeze to enter the heater core is stuck. What about the temp gauge on the dash? Is it normal?

check the cable on the heater valve. that sometimes can get stuck. what is the temperature of the air coming out of the vents? should be at a max of 92 degrees or something.
