2000 civic ex airbag circuit
my seatbelt light on the dash never lights up so i look under the driver seat and found that the wire was cut. so i took everything out and wired it back up. when i turn the key to ON the car beeps. oh yeah, my srs light was on too, but after i fixed the problem it stayed off. how many times should the car beep to know the srs is working properly?

There are 7 beeps, if your seat belt is plugged in, it will not sound the system. The light will illuminate for around 7 seconds as well, and then the light will go out. If it lights up again, you have an SRS problem.

when i checked it there are 6 beeps. and the srs light does not blink at all. sometimes when i drive the srs light is on. and sometimes the light is off. why is that?

Maybe it is six, for some reason i remember 7, oh well, anyways. The light will be on steady, it will not blink. Then the light will go out, and may come back on if there is a fault in the system. Odds are it is an intermittent fault, and may have something to do with how you repaired a wire.
There is a list of codes for the SRS system on this site somewhere. I suggest finding them and performing the test.
