Icon5 2000 Civic, d16y7 removal and installation, automatic

Good day people, I'm about to switch the engine {D16y7} in my daughters 2000 Civic, with an automatic transmission. I'm looking for a removal procedure, installation, just need some direction, as I have never performed a removal on a front wheel drive. Any guidance contributions would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you

I just did one in my 2000 SE sedan, 5 speed. It was pretty simple, i didn't really need any instructions. Drain fluids, unplug main harness from car, disconnect exhaust and shift linkage....then mounts, lift it out

OP, you're new, so I'll be nice. Once.

The FAQ sticky exists for a reason. Use it.

Okay, sorry but I didn't find anything relevant to assist me in the engine removal, I even checked in the Faq listings. I'm new to working on Honda's, but I'll just remove all of the electrical, and the other connections, unbolt the drive plate from the torque convertor, and hopefully the transmission will separate, and remain in the car. Here's to hoping that u-tube has some helpful posts......simers

There's actually not much specifically aimed at removing the auto trans. Here's a video of removing the engine which will cover the trans as well, it's in 3 parts
