2 Hose Fittings on a 92 EG cant find place for them on Y8 SWAP Pictures!
D16Y8 swap seems to have never ending problems now I have two hoses that I seem to find no place for . I will post pics in about a hour . Till then the first hose is a small black hose that is on the passenger side underneath the EGR i believe its called its underneath the fuel filter. DESCRIPTION Its a long black bottle look alike thing. This hose hooked up to the top of my b7 intake manifold and now i cant find a place for it on my y8 intake manifold. Where does this hose go? well i will put pics in a hour to maybe be able to identify this hose

Re: (92EG8)
Without seeing pictures, I would ASSUME that it would connect to something regarding the emissions system, probably an EVAP canister hose or something... post some pics...

Re: (.Red.EM2)
ok pictures are here I also included a diagram of where the hose used to go in my old b7 manifold
Thats where the hose comes from that long black cylinder thing^^^
This is where the hose leads to and it used to go on my b7 intake manifold before i swapped it to the d16y8 in the picture. The d16y8 manifold holes are all filled with the corrective hoses and etc.heres a diagram of where it used to hook up

Then the Second Hose comes from the block where the coolant lines seems to go the hose end is bent towards the intake manifold so guessing it has something to do with that too here a pictures of it
thats where the hose ends at ^^^^
This is where it comes from it actually comes from another hose itself ^^^

Re: (92EG8)
the hose that flings into the air in the first picture goes to the EVAP purge solenoid, the other hose leads to the vent on the gas tank, or where it says "on my b7 it manifold the lines orginall went right here"
the purge solenoid is bolted to the fuel rail to the right of the fuel pressure regulator

Ok. I was asking about the IACV because they told me i needed to use my old one or thats what i at least read in a thread. Also i cannot find anything on the fuel rail that has a openening for the hose. The rail around the 3rd and 2nd cylinder has a sensor then leads to some hoses but those are in the proper place i believe

Well for the first picture i guess the only way to solve this would be if i could change my manifold intake but only where the throttle butterfly part (you know where u can take 4 bolts to remove a part of the manifold can i swap it for my b7 because the b7 is the one with the extra nipple for that particular hose
