120,000 miles maitenance
My '95 Civic LX is at 117,540 miles. It is only 3000 miles away from the 120 mark and the recommended 120K miles maitenance work ups. The dealer wants 559.99 USD to do this service. Yeah! As if I have that kind of money! So, here I am again. Has anyone attempted this service by his/herself? What does it involved?
My experience with cars includes installing speakers and HU, modified/fix my broken center console, oil change, tires rotation, manual transmission fluid flush/change, alternator + starter replacement, and other miscelaneous things.
Thanks!
Drakko

That's the same as a 30K mile service:
Replace tranny fluid
Air filter
Oil/Filter
Spark Plugs if you desire
Rotate/balance tires
Valve Adjustment
TB/Waterpump, plug wires, dist cap/rotor only needs to be done at 90K mile intervals.

I do my 30K maint myself. Not a big deal at all, just time consuming. It's just:
oil change, tires rotation, manual transmission fluid flush/change
Plus:
brake fluid flush
clutch fluid flush
radiator flush / fill
plugs
cap & rotor (use OEM!)
fuel filter
air filter
I think that's about it...
