1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
So I just leave the bar tonight, go to start my car and leave. Starts up no problem, I go to leave and hit the side street, my car dies. I try to restart it just cranks and cranks no start. Very strong crank, new battery, I'm 100% sure it's not that.
I had replaced, fuel filter, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, sea foamed, cleaned IACV, FITV, and throttle body. Never has this happened to where I can't start it though. Just paid to have it towed home, I need to see if people have any suggestions. I have a feeling it's the fuel pump, but before I replace it I'd like to see if there is any common issues with this
Please let me know, asap, thank you
The irony is, I just sent my block out today to get it rebuilt for my swap, ugh

You need to do some basic troubleshooting:
1-When you turn the key from off to ON(II), does the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds? Does the CEL remain on steady or turn off after 2 seconds?
2-Is there bright white spark at all 4 spark plugs? Click the spark link in my signature.

Re: 1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
Just swapped out the Main Relay and still nothing, when I remove the main relay and jump the two wires to give direct power to the fuel pump I get power at the yellow/green wire but the fuel pump still doesn't prime. I don't wanna just jump to conclusions and assume it's the fuel pump. Especially since I'm doing my swap later this year and i'll be upgrading the fuel pump anyhow. Are there any other things I can check? It can't be the fuel pump fuse can it?
No power to fuel pump wire when the main relay is plugged in though

Also, where is the fuel pump fuse located? I don't have any labels on my cover for the fuse panels so I don't know which fuse it is, and I can't seem to find it when I search - EDIT found the fuse number 24 under the dash, fuse was fine.. I'm leaning toward fuel pump unless anyone else has an idea

Key on there is no prime, CEL bulb was removed because I believe I have an automatic ECU in the car and I had a CEL for automatic trans code. I haven't checked spark, the plugs have less than 3000 miles on them, do you still want me to check spark even though the fuel pump is not getting power or priming?

Remove the rear seat, jump the main relay like you mentioned, and then check whether voltage gets to the fuel pump. If so, check whether the fuel pump ground wire is good. If that's fine, replace the fuel pump.

Re: 1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
I already replaced the pump, with the main relay plugged in, there is no power (key on). Once I jump those two wires at the relay, I get constant power to the pump and I can hear it working now. I think I may go pick up that relay again to see if it fixes that. What are the odds of the main relay AND the pump going out together?

Re: 1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
Have you checked whether hood fuse 31 (ECU) is blown. In the main relay plug, if you jump power from either the fuse 31 or fuse 24 wire to the fuel pump wire, does the pump run?
You can resolder the main relay rather than buy a new one:

I have not checked the ECU fuse yet. The only way that I am getting power is when I do that jump from the bottom right two sockets on the plug. I just put in the new relay again and it's still the same issue. I'll go out and check the ECU fuse I suppose.. There must be a short somewhere, but I have no idea where to begin looking.

Re: 1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
Your problem could be caused by a blown 15A hood ECU fuse. The main relay and ECU need voltage from both fuse 31 and fuse 24 to make the fuel pump prime.

Just checked every fuse under the hood, they are all fine. I really don't know how this even happened, I didn't hit any bumps or anything when it happened, I just started the car, backed out, moved up total of 25 feet of driving and it died out

Key on fuse 31 (top left if standing directly in front of car) 15a, I have power there at both tabs.

Unplug the main relay:
In the connector, jump the Yel/Wht wire terminal from fuse 31 to the Yel/Grn wire that runs to the fuel pump. Does the fuel pump run?

Yellow and white? I had tried the yellow and black and that did work. I'll go check out the yellow and white

Re: 1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
Does jumping the Yel/Wht make the pump run? If so, next do the same test with the Blk/Yel wire, but be sure to have the key in ON(II) for that test.

blk/yel gives the pump power and it turns on with key on, for the yel/wht should I have the key on or off?

Re: 1.5 non vtec - stalled and now it cranks but won't start
Have you cleaned and tightened the G101 ground attached to the thermostat housing? If so, reconnect the main relay plug and then unplug ECU connector A. If you ground either A7 or A8 (Grn/Yel wire) in the plug with the key in ON(II), does the fuel pump run?

Just a side note, the main relay DOES click when the key is on. I'll try cleaning that ground then grounding the ECU like you said
