Default 03 Si 1/4 Mile time? Very sad I think, I beat one tonight in my S.

Just asking because I beat a 2003 Si twice tonight at a redlight we caught. I have a del Sol S. So thats pretty damn bad. And I know the kid was racing because when the light turned red as we were approaching it, he switched lanes and got next to me. I turned and looked at him and he was grillin the **** outta me. I gave it a quick rev, and I got one back. When the light turned green we went at it. Caught the next light and went at it again.

The first time I beat him by 1 car. The second time I beat him by 2 maybe 2 1/4. We raced more than the 1/4 also because I was in mid 4th gear when I let off. I got him from the start to end. Put the 4 ways on and called it a day. After that he wasnt riding my *** no more and he didnt try again at the next light. Might think I'm b/s'in or whatever, but hey. I must have a damn well D15 in my car. Or its just the drivers.

Oh, All I have is an ebay CAI and Skunk2 catback. He had intake.

what exactly is your car doing??

Is it that your idle is fluctuating or is your fuel cutting out??

Sounds more like an ignition problem. Check the cap and clean it out or replace it. The wires could also be old. Might as well pull and check the plugs.

To me it sounds like you might have a rod knock.

Better have someone take a beter look at the car. Might need to throw some new rod bearings in

That;'s why it helps to have a beter description of the problem

Edit- Might as well pull the tranny and replace the flywheel bolts

Brakes have a tendencey to fade when you overheat them.

jeez. DUH!!!!!!! We ALL KNOW THESE THINGS BuT I think his problem lies in his intake system. Take the filter off and leave it open. MAN TH4t shi7 i$ tiiiiit3. I mean seriously? WHy USE an airfilter? In my opinion they are for pussies. Plus it makes a tizzite whooooooosh when you push the accelerator.
