Re: ***Resetting SRS Light** (dogpile5)
if you are concerned about removing your air bags, this will only work if you have already safely removed the airbags. once you have unplugged and removed them you will need to reset the SRS light. or so i heard, i haven't removed my airbags.

Re: ***Resetting SRS Light** (ransack)
BTW: I did not go out and buy or make the SCS Service Connector. I just took a "Jumbo" paperclip and bent it into a U shape that had the open end prongs spaced the same distance as that of the MES connector sockets. The "Jumbo" paperclip is ideal for this because its thicker and stiffer than the normal paperclips thereby making a perfect tool for this application.

AAAAGGGHHHH! My light has been on forever, and I want to reset it, but the plug won't come out of the fuse box! What can I do? I push in the little release button and pull and wiggle it all I can but it won't budge!

Re: ***Resetting SRS Light** (BrewerHatch)
what if you pull the MES plug, plug in the SCS, turn the key to on and the SRS light never goes off?

Re: ***Resetting SRS Light** (dcsports)
Can someone post a pic of the yellow plug (MES)? I think I may have the wrong one. It's supposed to be on the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side correct? I have a '93 Civic and the picture I saw looked nothing like mine...

Re: ***Resetting SRS Light** (BrewerHatch)
that one in your hand is linked to the airbag itself dont test that one. i just looked on my hatch and on the lower right side of the fuse block inside the car there is a yellow plug that is plugged into a dummy connector. I think that is the one. it has two gray wires comming out of it. HTH
