94 del sol junkyard finD, mostly intact, what parts should I pull for my 93 del sol? Don't really need any but what are expensive or hard to find parts I should pull?

Worth what? This thread isn't for "should I do this", it's for "what's the dollar value of X".

You've been pointed towards the stickies once in the past. On top of that, the stickies are literally right there near the new thread button. The level of laziness you have shown here is not conducive to getting your questions answered. It is, however, conducive to getting flamed to the point that you don't want to come back.
Don't make us flame you. Read and put in a little effort before creating threads in the future.

have some interest in my ITR wheels...
JDM ITR 16"x7"Replica wheels in gunmetal with 205/45/16 Bridgestone RE-11's
what are they worth? tread is about 50% all around. 2 center caps missing, no scuffs.

My EJ coupe...Continue 'building it'?
Hi! I have a 98 DX coupe. It's got the stock y7, no power anything.
Well, I just wanted your guys' input. I don't know what to do with this car, I'm a poor college student but want to make my car just look "DECENT".
It's got a crack in the rear bumper, aftermarket (not painted), hood, bumper, and both front fenders.
I also have a couple other things done but nothing worth putting. (aftermarket radio, full exhaust..)
Anyway, what would you guys do if you were me?
Continue 'building it' ? I mean I just don't know what to do anymore.
It's got the ugly DX green color, slow, have hail damage, steelies with fat winter tires, front right control arm broke, missing grill, etc
Any ideas or cool DIY that I can do for relatively cheap?

I have a similar car in every respect, except it had a (poorly done) H swap. 3 years and many, many 1000's of dollars later and it is just now running and looking decent.
Unless you just have an irrational love for the chassis, drop it. You have been warned.

Use it to get thru college by leavin it as is then when you graduate go buy a ek9 hatch in decent shape for a good starting point. Ur car has too much fixing to do before you can even get into performance. Itd be a waste of time imo buddy. Just being honest.

Thor, considering that your wheels can be had brand new for $700 without tires (and considering they're Rota or similar), you can price them the same way any other used Rota is priced - $500.

Being broke and modding cars dont mix.
parts are expensive. Hell even proper maintenance is expensive when your broke!
Get your education in college and get some education on here.

I have a feeling when you leave college your going to be in some much debt with student loans that your dreams of building a honda will be just a memory.
But, just read and plan and if you decide to take on a project, look for the cleanest honda you can find. not the cheapest. it will benefit you in the end.
good luck

Should I get this honda? Honda newbie here
My BMW got totaled out when I got rear ended the other day considering it was so old with so many miles on it (450,000 btw, good old M30 engine) I never did tell them about the turbo I added either heh heh heh. I bought it back and pretty well parted it out so I have some cash on hand. I'm borrowing my grandpa's 2000 Buick century right now, and god damn, does this car suck. It's slow, gets 16 mpg, and nothing in it works worth a ****. The springs fell out in the seat so my *** gets sucked down in a hole when I sit in it. Anyway thats enough background.
Never in my life would I think that I would end up in a Honda. I always hated the "ricer" stigma associated with them. I've gotten older now, I've seen the light. I don't want one to go fast, I want to go FURTHER with great MPG. I really like 2-seater cars and was looking for a CRX HF. The thing is, they're all ragged out to hell, engine swapped, painted flat black, fart can exhaust, etcetera. The closest one near me worth a damn is $5,000 and 250 miles away. That's kind of insane.
There is a really nice 1992 VX near me with the VTEC-E engine which I've heard can get upwards of 50MPG. That's better than some new hybrids! I don't want to mod the car to go fast or do an engine swap or any of that happy horseshit. I want to mod it for MPG, and then MAYBE for some auto cross. Not going to try to win races with it, just have fun. It did have rust on the normal parts of the rear fender wells, but it was repaired professionally and the entire car was painted, so it looks pretty good. Interior is mint too, plus I can get it for under 2,000 bucks.
Anyway my question to you honda gurus is this;
Do you know of anyone who has modded a VX to get gas mileage, what real world numbers could I expect, and is it worth it to just wait to get a 88-89 CRX HF and THEN swap a VX engine into it?
Also what options (or lack thereof) did the car come with? I like everything manual. I'm guessing the steering rack is manual, along with everything else.
TL:DR
Should I get a Civic VX for MPG or wait to find a good 88-89 CRX HF?

Re: Should I get this honda? Honda newbie here
The VX is more well rounded than a CRX HF. The 5G chassis has MANY improvements. I believe VX's did come with optional AC...bu manual everything else.
But the CRX (especially a mint, stock HF) is rare, very cool, and very coveted. So it maintains its value as long as you keep it that way.
If you want 45-55MPG, AC, and power options, and easier availability....buy a 96-00 HX.

Re: $The Value Thread$ What's It Worth? Should I Buy? What's the Cost?
A friend is offering to sell me his del Sol for $1000 down and $250 a month to him for four months (2 grand total). It's exterior and interior is in great condition, has a properly put together LSVTEC, brand new Stage 2 clutch, skunk2 pro intake, skunk2 header, HC pistons, coil overs, some 16" rims, etc. I'm assuming if I wanted to I could easily flip it or part it for a sizable profit. Should I go ahead and take the deal? I'd have two running del Sols, which wouldn't be a bad situation since my GF wants one.

Re: $The Value Thread$ What's It Worth? Should I Buy? What's the Cost?
If its in as good of shape as u say and the motor and trans are strong I don't see any loss at 2k on your end. I'd do it based on they're getting harder to come across clean(again if its truly clean and done right). And part out a clean car with no issues that's getting harder to find, no way man please don't do that. It's not right to do and takes up a lot of time and effort for what? Just to ruin a "clean" car? No way... Keep it for yourself or sell for a little bit of a profit to someone who's gonna appreciate it.
