What was your first mod on your si?
I just bought an 07 Civic Si today and I'm clueless on what I should do first. It's the Fuji Blue. What's your opinions? What did you to yours first?

Sat radio, Auger shift boot, then winter rims & tires <-- all mickey mouse **** so far.
As for your first mod.......depends on what your looking to get from your car really. Like what is your big picture plan for your car?

The first thing I did was remove all the decals and emblems. I know what it is is and I do not need to advertise to morons who would steal stuff off my car.
Second was a K&N filter.
Then I replaced the shift **** with a leather wrapped one from a ITR. The stock one is too cold.
Amsoil MTF in the tranny IS A MUST!
My Comptech short shifter is in the mail and will get installed this coming week.
I am not a fan of dicking with the intake or header/exhaust. Honda squeezed 100hp per liter out of the engine, I don't see how a "garaged engineered" piece will improve on Honda Engineering.
The suspension works pretty well, I ain't messing with that either. Suspension travel is a good thing and the SVA works plenty good with the LSD. But better tires are on the list of "things to do."

FBP FA5 FTW!

Re:
I might change the shift boot after a little. My finace has a carbon fiber one laying around so I might put that in it. The K&N filter will probably be happening really soon.
Thanks for all your input so far!! Keep it coming!

you removed all the emblems and decals because you didnt want people stealing stuff off of your car...and you didnt mess with intake and stuff because honda squeezed out a lot of hp for a little motor....i was like....what the? and then i read more...and realized you had a FA5. makes sense.

A Bugatti Veyron puts out 1001 factory horsepower, but that doesn't automatically mean there isn't room for improvement there....
Anyway, I had the dealer install the HFP suspension, clutch and 18" wheels and change the MTF and engine oil before I even picked the car up. My first major mods are a JDM front end conversion this week and a turbo/exhaust install next week.
I think you should install an intake.

and to the OP:
You can tint it(30% all around to make it nice)
an HID projector retrofit would be nice too for better visibility or u can get fogs and put some JDM yellow bulbs =] or fogs w/the yellow lenses :D
Mike(TypeX) has a fiji blue that standsout wherever he drives...ask him for advice... but remember...a drive to nyc and kiss is the best yo... ok no more stupid comments or ill get warned lol
