I have a 2006 Honda civic the ac will starts up when car is cold ac will work compressor engages. 5-10 minutes later hot air blows out vents. I have had refrigerant levels checked and pressures seem fine on low side but high side would not increase above 100-110 psi discharge was about 53F from vents few minutes later compressor kicked off.
What could cause this issue? Is compressor going is that why high side pressure was not higher? Is that how a compressor slowly starts to fail? Or is TX valve an issue that could be causing pressure issue? No other signs of other issues as fuses seem fine, low higher pressure switch appears to be doing job.
Any help would be appreciated. Don't mind changing compressor just don't want to do part replacement and charging vacuuming over and over again.
