Ignition lock
my friend has 07 civic ex and the key wont come out of the ignition, HELP!! Car turns on and drives normal and turns off normal but the key wont come out. Let me Know. Car is automatic

make sure he puts it FULLY into park. something could be wrong with the parking catch and might not be locking correctly. tell him 2 put it into park HARD (lol) a couple times and try.

Sounds like the shifter is not disengaging the key lock. You will probably have to take it to a dealer. Sounds like a relay crapped out on you or something.
