Re: Help Odometer jumping (p0720)
I don't understand this think of a check engine light as an idiot light DO WHAT IS SAYS a friend had a 420 code which is cat below threshold he refused to bring it to the dealership cuz he said they would rip him off it was under warrenty so he would get it for free but somehow his retarded mind thought he would be ripped off then his car started acting up and he thought his tranny was slipping and it was high reving and wouldn't shift right i test drove it and told him his cat was clogged go get it fixed he did it fixed the problem.......now to your problem think about what your saying OUTPUT SHAFT SENSOR it reads the speed of your OUTPUTSHAFT which connects to your wheels....wheels turn at x mph a bad sensor may think your going 200mph when your goin 50 and would cause your odometer to jump.......you tell me what do you think will fix it

I'm asking if anyone ran into this problem before I want to get straight to the point instead of changing sensors and it not being the problem. Checking speed sensor this weekend thanks
