FA5 TSB or something else?
Hi I read everything in the official clunking/popping thread, but still hold no explanation to my dilemna.
I have a 2009 FA5 with 22k miles on it. I recently installed Function and Form Type 2's and get this weird clunk from my front passenger side when I drive at low speeds and over bumps, no sounds at speeds over 30mph and it doesnt do the infamous TSB steering rack bolt clunking. There is no clunk when I turn.
I preloaded the springs by 5mm and the springs are basically immovable when jacked up. Both axels and tie rods have no play, wheel bearings are good, sway bar is stiff and the end links are still pretty sturdy.
The noise is there whether its at 13, 21, 32 for the dampening setting.
The only things I have left to do is the 2007+ Engine Mount Problem, Torquing the Steering Rack Bolts.
I will be swapping out my front suspension back to stock to see if the noise still occurs. I heard a lot of good and bad from function and form so it may still be the coilover to blame. I have 1 year warranty will function and form cover this issue if the coils are the ones making the noise.
Any suggestions please. Thank you

Re: FA5 TSB or something else?
Sounds like the same issue I had... Although I'm still on OE suspension. I had the dealer replace the passenger mount... issue was gone till a few years later. It's back, but not as bad as before. Best bet woul;d be to just go back to OE susp then go from there.
