Does this sound like a good buy? (2007 Ex)
I'm almost certain I'll be buying this car very soon, but thought I would seek additional input first. Here's the specs...
2007 Honda Civic Ex
4 Door
Auto
51XXX
One owner
The car is being sold at a respectable dealer who is willing to give me a one-year powertrain warranty. The car would be a certified pre-owned vehicle, but it is being sold at Ford dealership. I talked them down to $14000 out the door including sales tax and whatever other little fees they throw in there. I'll be taking it to a mechanic. If it passes his inspection, should I bite? The car is really clean and drives smoothly. One thing that caught my eye is that the dealership paid over 600 dollars for these services...
Change oil and filter. Replace L.H. wiper blade, R.H. new cond. reline FT. Brakes, Machine (4) Rotors. Repair/Straighten (1) wheel.
Anything to make of that or is that just standard work? Any thoughts on the overall deal? Appreciate it, thanks.

14000 seems a tad high. Also, does it have the original block? 06-08 R18 are known to crack. I believe Honda will replace them under warranty for the first 8 years after original purchase date.

I bought my 2006 Civic Si with only 45k on it for $13k. So no, I'd say that is a really high price.
